The spectacular beauty of the Burg Lüdinghausen will never fail to impress you. This wonderful moated castle dates back to the 12th Century and was the home of Counts of Ludinghausen. The castle was rebuilt in the 16th Century to its present form with Renaissance architectural styles. Today, the castle is open to public and plays host to a variety of events. Exhibitions, concerts, and meetings take place at the castle quite frequently. It is owned by the city council.
