TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Built in the early 19th Century, St. Raphael is a historical structure that reflects Romansque Revival architecture. The majestic facade of the church has a gabled roof and atop is a sculpture that depicts crucifixion. The interiors were renovated to give the church a more modern feel. The pulpit was built in 1939 by Karl Baur and the choir was renovated several times. However, the church has a few elements from the old days including the beautiful figure of Mondsichelmadonna dating back to the 15th Century.
