The Ohio State Reformatory, or Mansfield Reformatory, was built in 1886. In use till 1990, this historic prison allegedly gets its haunted status from the death of 200 people during its functioning. The Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society undertakes several restoration programs and tours offered to experience the evident paranormal activity.
