Located in the heart of Salem, The Gardner-Pingree House was built in 1804 by renowned architect Samuel McIntire.A prime example of Federal-style architecture, the house is a registered a National Historic Landmark. Originally owned by John and Sarah Gardner, it currently functions as the Peabody Essex Museum. Take a guided tour of the house, that has also been a film set, and view the original 18th and 19th Century furnishings.
