Big White Ski Resort is located to the east of Kelowna on the Big White mountain and is one of the most popular winter holiday destinations for locals as well as tourists to the city. The resort was opened in the year 1963 and now has more that 118 runs and along the slopes of the mountains that are perfect for skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, ice skating, tubing, biking and snowmobiles for kids. The resort itself is well maintained and has every facility you would need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Keep an eye out for the snow ghosts formed by the beautiful champagne powder snow.
