Monte Carlo or Mount Charles is a popular district in Monaco. It is situated on the crust of Maritime Alps and alongside the banks of French Riviera. It is worldwide known as the gambling hub. The native population of this area is only about 3500 approximately. Affluent crowd of visitors like businessmen, actors, famous sport stars is what you should expect while visiting Monte Carlo. Along with casinos, Monte Carlo is also known for organizing car rallies and Formula One Monaco Grand Prix. Events like boxing tournaments, tennis tournaments, poker tournaments and fashion shows are also hosted. This district claims to be one of the leading resort center for tourists. During the day time you can visit museums like Oceanographic Museum, Napoleon Museum, The Prince Palace depicting the history of Monte Carlo.
