Located in the north west coast of Scotland,Kyle of Lochalsh is a self-sufficient village with a small but growing population. Situated on the opposite side of another village called the Kyleakin, this village used to be connected only via a ferry, but this lasted only till 1995 when there was a 2 kilometer(1 mile) long bridge was built. This bridge known as the Skye bridge affected not just that transport but also made the economy rise as there was an easier way to access Kyle of Lochalsh.
