The spectacular adventure-filled Silesian Park makes for a fantastic day out with the entire family. The 620 hectare (1532 acre) recreation complex in Silesia, Poland is a gigantic fun-house brimming with several exciting activity opportunities for everyone. Within the park is the Silesian Stadium, famous for having hosted numerous football matches and music events and the Silesian Zoological Garden which is home to around 300 species of animals and also has a wonderful section called the dinosaur valley containing full-scale reconstructions of dinosaurs. The park also houses an exciting and educational planetarium, an Ethnographic park, a shooting range, and an attractive rose garden. The park’s main draw however is its fantastic amusement park – the oldest of its kind in Poland. Amongst the many entertaining rides in the theme park the 35 meter (114 feet) high Ferris Fall is one of the most popular ones.
