The Old Harry Rocks are chalk formations lying in the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. This site is composed of a chalk stalk and a stump and is located in the Handfast Point. This site is situated at the east end of the famous Jurassic Coast which is a World Heritage Site. Earlier a long stretch of chalk, it turned into a headland due to erosion. Legends regarding the origin of the name surrounds this site. One such story claims that a devil named 'Old Harry' had slept on the rocks.
