Büdingen is a quaint town situated in the German region of Hesse. This town still retains its medieval character and is worth a visit for history buffs. It prominently features houses with half-timber frames and remnants of the town walls dating back to the 15th and 16th Centuries. Its swampy terrain is replete with old and picturesque castles and bridges. The popular tourist attractions include the Heuson Museum, Marienkirche, Jerusalem Gate and Mühltorbrücke. This town was also visited by the famous scientist Albert Einstein in the year 1952.
