The Ashridge Estate is a wide expanse of natural beauty spread over 20 square kilometres (5000 acres) in Chiltern Hills. It is managed by the National Trust and includes historically and aesthetically significant structures like the Ashridge mansion and chapel. The landscape comprises of vast woods that are home to a range of wildlife. There are guided walks conducted across various trails in the estate. It also includes the Bridgewater Monument which is a tower with 172 steps inside built in the memory of the third Duke of Bridgewater.
