Nestled on the banks of the River Neckar, Bad Cannstatt is the oldest district of Stuttgart. There are records that suggest its existence since the ice age and during the Roman era, it was among the important towns of the reign. It is also the birthplace of automobile and motorbikes. It became a part of the city in 1905 and has many historical and interesting sites to visit. Some of them are the Wilhelma-Theater, Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Stuttgart (National Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart), Museum Schloss Rosenstein, Museum am Löwentor, Mercedes-Benz Museum, Stadtmuseum Stuttgart, Mercedes-Benz-Arena, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, Porsche Arena, Wilhelma and the Mineral Bath.
