Located on Schloßstraße, the Philipp-Nicolai-Kirche is named after the local poet Phillip Nicolai. The current building of the church dates back to the 18th Century and reflects Gothic architecture. Most notable in the church is the spectacular ceiling painted by Waldecker Schnitzers Wolrad Brützel. The church was renovated in 2010, and is today one of the oldest standing religious structures in Bad Wildungen.
