The small commune of Grasse on the French Riviera has made a name for itself as the producer of some of the finest perfumes in the world. Also known as Grasso or Grassa, the town is known for its rich art culture and history as well as several perfume factories which conduct many tours throughout the day. The annual Fête du Jasmine festival, is a matter of pride for the town and a huge cultural phenomenon. The commune is also the location of the famous Notre Dame du Puy’s Cathedral, which has paintings from Rubens and Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
