Pop Recs Ltd is the brainchild of Frankie & the Heartstrings, a local band. Opened in 2013 in the former Sunderland Tourist Office, it is a record shop, music venue, coffee shop and gallery. Decked up with black and white posters, it has an inviting look where you can browse for records or enjoy a cuppa. Their concerts are reasonably priced as well. Some of their previous listings are Emperor Yes, Losers, Blossoms and Gulp.
