TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Frejus is a picturesque commune in the Var region of France. Part of the town is a seaside resort with sprawling beaches, ample surf, blue waters and fun water sports. Another part of the town used to be a medieval settlement which was established by the Romans. The ruins of this old medieval port city draw in a number of tourists. Some sights worth seeing while visiting the city include the church of Saint Maximinus, a Roman amphitheater and the market place which sits in the old part of town where there are a number of Gothic and Roman style houses.
