Flayosc is a small hilly town in the Var province in France. The little town, which is crossed by three rivers, dates back to ancient times. With its vantage point on the hill, it was a strategic spot from where any enemy attack could be spotted before the army came close. The town and castle finally fell in the French Revolution. The area in and around the town is also known for its rich variety of flora and fauna. It has been classified as an ecosystem for fragile and rare wildlife by the Natura 2000 project in France.
