Established in 2004, the Prophetstown State Park is among the newer state parks of Indiana. The diverse terrain pf this park is made up of ice, water, fire and sprawling lands carpeted with tall prairie grass. Christened after the eponymous Native American town, the park is teeming with rich history, cultural heritage and enchanting wilderness. Home to scenic biking and hiking trails and a spacious campground, the park proffers an array of recreational opportunities to its numerous discerning visitors. Luring history buffs are the Farm at Prophetstown, which serves as a splendid museum, and the Battle of Tippecanoe Memorial Site. The picturesque Prophetstown State Park is a unique state park that merits a visit at the earliest.
