Main Street Square

While many cities boast a downtown plaza with a long and colorful history, at the grand opening of the Main Street Square in 2011, Rapid City's residents witnessed history in the making. This splendid public space has come to be the epicenter of the city's arts and culture scene. Clustered around the square on all sides you will find a host of stylish boutiques alongside restaurants and cafes. The square itself is home to a bouquet of seasonal delights. In summer enjoy splashing around and dodging the playful water-jets of the interactive fountain, and in winter glide along the smooth ice of the seasonal ice skating rink.
