Located in the beautiful Wiesdorf district, Christuskirche is a Lutheran church dating back to the early 20th Century. The church was built according to the plans of architect Arno Eugen Fritsche, but a bomb raid during the Second World War caused much damage to the church. It was then restored by architect Wilhelm Fähler in the 1940s. The church has a spectacular facade and equally impressive interiors. Today, the church conducts regular services. Apart from this, it also plays host to exhibitions, readings, and musical concerts.
