Built in the year 1920, the Markthalle Delmenhorst holds some historic importance. It was constructed under the guidance of the architect Heinz Stoffregen. It was formerly a town hall, and later was extensively renovated in 2015. It is now used a multi-purpose facility where a number of cultural activities like markets, social gatherings and so on are held.
