A Day In The Most Beautiful Villages Of The Luberon

After a 1 hour drive from Avignon, visit the village entirely colored with ocher and listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
Then about a 20-minute drive to Sénanque Abbey (during lavender season) or Bruoux Mines.

Stop At: Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque, Route de l'abbaye de Senanque D177a, 84220, Gordes France

During the lavender flowering period (from approximately June 20 to July 31), marvel at the sumptuous landscape around Sénanque Abbey.

Outside of the lavender flowering period, visit the sumptuous ocher mines of Bruoux (entrance ticket included) exploited until the second half of the 20th century.

Then picnic for about 1 hour at Mines de Bruoux or around Gordes, and about 15 minutes drive to Gordes.

Taste AOC Luberon appellation wines in this magnificent stone-built estate offering a view of the village of Ménerbes and having an avenue of olive trees and lavender to welcome you.

Then about 1 hour drive to return to Avignon.
