Mike Zito is a blues guitarist and singer/songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri who started singing at the age of 5 and performing in the St. Louis music scene when he was a teenager. Helping form the supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood with Cyril Neville and Devon Allman in 2010, Zito has also embarked on a number of other collaborative project with well known musicians like James Hutchinson and Anders Osborne. Striking out on his own, Zito released his debut album, Gone to Texas, in 2014 and the album helped establish him as a formidable talent on the modern blues scene.
