Charlotte's Web is a family-friendly play that is adapted for the stage from the beloved 1952 children's novel of the same name. The story follows a pig named Wilbur and his encounters with various barn-yard animals that he lives around, in particular a spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur and Charlotte discover plans for Wilbur to be cooked and served for Christmas dinner, Charlotte begins to write words with her spider web above Wilbur's pen assertating the pig's virtues. Because of this remarkable phenomena, Wilbur is saved and becomes somewhat of a celebrity when he is brought to a county fair.
