Jackie Greene is a blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist from Salinas, California who might best be known for his collaborations with notable musicians like Phil Lesh, Chris Robinson and Warren Haynes. Building a strong affinity for music at an early age, Greene started playing guitar at the age of 14 and was soon playing and sitting in with local Salinas bar bands. Apart from maintaining a fairly prolific recording output, beginning with his debut solo album Gone Wanderin' in 2002, he has also played backup for the likes of Los Lobos, B.B. King and Buddy Guy amongst others.
