June in Canada is National Aboriginal History Month, so it is a fitting time for Abbotsford's Aboriginal Arts and Culture Day. First organized by the Abbotsford Arts Council in 2016, Aboriginal Day provides the community with an opportunity to learn more about the culture and traditions of Canada's Indigenous peoples. Visitors can find dream catchers, jewelry, beadwork, and enjoy the performances of native storytellers, dancers, drummers and more.
