This team from Eastern Netherlands won the Netherlands Football League Championship twice before it became the Eredivisie in 1956. Established in 1903, the club did win the Eerste Divisie (First Division) in 1985 and 2005. The team nickname is Heraclieden, and the squad takes the pitch at Polman Stadion, the only stadium in the Netherlands that uses artificial turf. Its kit color is black-and-white and the crest features a roaring lion’s head with the image of Hercules in its maw.
