Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, computer programmer and overall tech-geek Jonathan Coulton has single-handedly made a name for himself as a troubadour of the Internet generation. A graduate of Yale University, and a former computer programmer, Coulton has put his programming career to rest in order to write songs about his Internet life, as well as other nerdy pursuits like gaming culture and science fiction, making his folksy music land squarely into the filk genre. Coulton was even tapped to write the ending credits to the 2007 hit puzzle game Portal.
