Growing up on a tobacco farm Versailles, Kentucky, John Conlee would go on to sing and play guitar by age 10. Singing tenor in a barbershop quartet initially, Conlee would eventually move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a country music career, eventually releasing his debut album, Rose Colored Glasses, in 1978. Conlee has since remained active, releasing additional LPs and performing regularly, helping him build a reputation as one of Nashville's more beloved country music icons.
