Spank Rock is a dirty rap group from Baltimore, Maryland that was formed by rapper Naeem Juwan (also known as MC Spank Rock) and producer Alex Epton. After coming up with a sound that's described by many as being a deft mixture of electro, rock and alternative underground rap, Spank Rock burst out onto the scene with the release of its critically acclaimed debut album YoYoYoYoYo in 2006. The group's music is perhaps best known, as evidenced by its debut album, for its hypersexual lyrical content and the highly original use of feel good, nostalgic sounds that combine to create what the duo calls "aural porn."
