Didier Barbelivien

Didier Barbelivien is a singer/songwriter from Paris who rose to become one of the country's most beloved pop musicians during the 1980s through the 1990s. Following his success as a solo songwriter and performer, Barbelivien went on to write songs for several of France's most successful singers--many of whom went on to earn tremendous critical acclaim. Recognized by the French government for his outstanding contribution to the development of songwriting in contemporary French pop music, Barbelivien was Knighted with the title of Chevalier of France's Legion of Honor, a crowning achievement to an already impressive career.
