Kate Taylor is a folk singer/songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts whose decades-spanning career has been a successful one, even though she never truly reached the upper echelons of folk stardom. After getting her start in the music industry at the age of 15, Taylor's album debut Sister Kate was released four years later in 1971 to a considerable amount of success for such a young artist. Following a successful recording career throughout the 1970s, Taylor decided to take a hiatus for the following few decades until 2003 when the artist released the critically acclaimed album Beautiful Road--marking the revival of a career that is sure to introduce her special brand of American folk to a completely new generation of fans.
