Husband-wife duo Pursesnatchers is composed of Doug Marvin of Dirty on Purpose and Annie Hart of Au Revoir Simone. Starting as a bedroom recording side project to their aforementioned bands, the two musicians recruited two friends to fully flesh out the group and began recording a debut album in 2010. The Brooklyn-based band blends likable indie pop chord progressions with mellow vocals and the melodica, and has gone over well with fans of bedroom pop.
