You Can't Win, Charlie Brown is a Portugal-based quintet that fits right in on the American and English indie music scene. Blending delicate folk harmonies, akin to those of Bon Iver, with tinkly piano and quirky melodica, the band creates charming, unobtrusive folk-pop. After forming in 2009, the band released a debut EP and garnered the attention of many other indie musicians, who often asked the band to open for them when they toured through Portugal. With a secure fan base in its home country, You Can't Win, Charlie Brown has since expanded its tour bracket, in an attempt to win over international audiences--a plan that has been successful for the band thus far.
