Brooklyn band New Moods is one of a growing number of bands incorporating elements of 1990s-era techno and house into their alternative pop and indie rock sound. Lead in part by the primary engineer for the band Gang Gang Dance, New Moods certainly relates to said band through a shared fascination with electronic and pop sounds from around the world. The band has built a small, intimate embrace from their local community and after a SXSW showcase they will certainly be on the rise in the years to come.
