Acrylics

New York-based duo Acrylics is producer Jason Klauber and singer Molly Shea. The two make dreamy synth-pop characteristic of the ethereal synthesizer sounds of the 1980s. Acrylics' music is defined by a substantial amount of space between the music and Shea's vocal presence. Her voice is often used as more of a textural element than a foregrounded pop structure. The group's debut EP All of the Fire was released in 2009.
