Tape Deck Mountain

Tape Deck Mountain is a lo-fi band that formed in 2004 in San Diego. The trio concocts dense reverb-laden music, that blends folk with early shoegaze. With lyrics primarily focused on paranoia and obsession, along with the occasional disturbing background noise, the music takes on a rather eerie vibe, despite its generally upbeat tempo. After the group's debut album dropped in 2009, Tape Deck Mountain has been touring extensively and has since built up a solid fan base.
