The Record Summer

The Record Summer is the solo indie pop project of New York City-based songwriter, Bret Rodysill. Writing, recording and playing all the instruments himself, Rodysill's songs are comprised of simple but effective melodies and mellow arrangements that should earn him fans of popular modern indie folk acts such as The Shins and Sufjan Stevens. Race to the Bottom, The Record Summer's debut EP full of shimmery pop songcraft, was released in 2010 on Catlick Records.
