Ernie Hendrickson is an acoustic singer/songwriter based out of the Chicago area. A passionate music scholar, he was raised soaking in classic albums by the likes of Neil Young and Bob Dylan, as one listen to his material will probably make quickly apparent. After studying classical and jazz composition at Illinois State University, Hendrickson began performing his folksy, country-tinged pop rock style both on his own and in more raucous variations with members of his backing band, The Make Believe. Down the Road, his self-produced debut LP full of stripped-down roots rock, was released in 2007.
