Kraddy (aka Matthew Kratz) is an electronic music producer now based out of the Los Angeles area who is known for his melding of hip-hop, dubstep and dancehall. Originally from New York, he eventually moved to California to further pursue his musical ambitions and soon began to establish himself in the San Francisco Bay Area thanks to a handful of well-received breakbeat singles as well a stint in the electronic supergroup The Glitch Mob. Truth Has No Path, his 2003 debut LP, clued the electronic community in to an artist who balances on a fine line between the heady ambition of IDM artists such as Aphex Twin and more straight-forward dance tracks that pull from the club and dubstep genres. Kraddy's music is often referred to as "glitch-hop," a subgenre he helped spark with his popular single "Android Porn."
