With the intention of taking his listeners on journeys through time and space, Random Rab builds psybient tracks through sonic exploration. Boasting an unusually diverse background in various bands, ranging from his stint as front man for a heavy metal band to playing bass for a country group, Random Rab incorporates his array of influences into his equally diverse music. Infusing his electronica with a variety of drum machines, samplers and live instruments, the San Francisco-based producer does more than just stand behind a laptop during his live performances, which have become a Burning Man staple.
