Frontier Ruckus is a folk rock band from Detroit, Michigan that continues the city's tradition of producing some of the nation's most celebrated indie folk acts. Frontier Ruckus formed in 2003 and began building a name for itself locally for the next several years, becoming one of Metro Detroit's preeminent folk rock acts in the process. Following the release of its critically-acclaimed debut LP The Orion Songbook in 2008, Frontier Ruckus started to see its profile raised to becoming a bona-fide, nationally recognized act. Having reached a plateau of renowned acclaim from critics and audiences alike, Frontier Ruckus continues to tour the US as one of the more exciting up-and-coming folk rock acts on the scene today.
