The Moondoggies

Seattle four piece The Moondoggies, formerly The Familiars, are a band set on recreating music of the mid-20th century American West from the days of yore spent on Route 66, in backwoods blues bars and whiskey taverns of the American soul. The result is bluesy americana rock full of vocal harmonies and guitar hooks. Since forming in 2005, the group has developed a fervent following in its native state and after signing to Hardly Art, a branch of the Sub Pop label, the band has toured the country with the hopes of expanding its following.
