John Bishop

John Bishop is a British comedian and actor from Liverpool who got his start performing stand-up in Manchester in 2000. After making it to the final round of the So You Think You're Funny comedy competition in 2001, he began earning recognition from comedy critics around the UK and television spots on shows such as Fighting Talk and Comedy Showcase for his intimate material pulled from his personal life. Besides his comedic television performances, Bishop was a regular cast member on the television series, Skins, and hosts a radio show on a local Liverpool station.
