Frederick Cooke, popularly known as Fred Cooke, is an Irish actor and comedian. The Kells, County Meath-native ventured into showbiz with a role on the TV show Republic of Telly. He then ventured into stand-up comedy in 2011, with regular performances on the country's comedy circuit. That same year, he graced the stage at the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival and debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Over the years, he has acted in several shows including Vexed, Bridget & Eamon and The Tommy Tiernan Show. He has also been a contestant on the Irish version of the dance reality show Dancing with the Stars.
