Impending Doom

Impending Doom is a Christian heavy metal band that emerged out of Riverside, California in 2005. With a sound it describes as Gorship, a cross between the words worship and gore, the band released its debut studio album, Nailed. Dead. Risen., in 2007 packed with grindcore intensity. With each subsequent release, Impending Doom has veered towards a more death metal-oriented sound, particularly on its fourth LP, Baptized in Filth, which was released in 2012.
