Charleston RiverDogs

The Charleston RiverDogs is a minor league baseball team based out of Charleston, South Carolina that competes in the South Atlantic League's Southern Division. Founded in 1980, the team has acted as an affiliate to a number of major league organizations including the Kansas City Royals, the San Diego Padres and the New York Yankees. Having won its first of several division championships during its inaugural season in 1980, the team quickly proved itself as a club that's capable of doing more than just producing talented players who go on to have successful careers in the big leagues.
