Born to a reputed regional solo artist, Billy Raffoul was surrounded by music from a young age. Enthralled by his father's performances, he delved into the finer nuances of rock music and learnt to play the guitar himself. By the time he reached his late teens, the Leamington, Ontario-native had started performing shows at local venues. He signed a record deal with Interscope Records following a gig in Detroit and he issued his debut single "Driver" in early 2017, followed by the EP 1975 later that year. 2019 proved to be a highly productive year and saw Raffoul drop the single "Hell or Highwater," the EP Running Wild, a live release, and the singles "Easy Tiger" and "When We Were Young." He went from playing as a supporting artist to headlining his own US tour, and began 2020 with the edifying "It's a Beautiful Life" from his EP A Few More Hours at YYZ. His first full-length album International Hotel also hit the shelves in 2020. Some of his top songs include "You Be Love," "I See You," "Acoustic" and "Say Amen."
