Eliane Elias

Eliane Elias is a jazz pianist, vocalist and songwriter from São Paulo, Brazil who is widely considered to be one of country's leading jazz musicians, with over 25 years of recordings to her credit. Since the release of her first album Amanda in 1985, Elias has released over 25 solo albums, as well as albums featuring duets with other jazz piano luminaries such as Herbie Hancock. Despite having few major mainstream awards to her name, this by no means detracts from Eliana Elias' much deserved fame and respect among jazz connoisseurs throughout the world.
