Empathic is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. Formed in 2005, the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Justin McCain, bassist and backing vocalist Brian White, and drummer and backing vocalist Joe Pessia. The band has released four studio albums, Damage (2010), Another Life (2012), Anthem for the Underdog (2015), and Emphatic (2019). Empathic's music is a blend of hard rock, alternative metal, and post-grunge. Their sound is characterized by heavy guitar riffs, melodic choruses, and powerful vocals. The band has been praised for their energetic live performances and their ability to capture the emotion of their songs. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with acts such as Shinedown, Three Days Grace, and Seether.
